Okay, here is our second option which I think is a bit more what I am looking for (oh, who am I kidding, I'll sleep in the metro station if it means I'm sleeping in Paris)!
Could you just imagine all of us meeting right here for our vacation! I think I'm beginning to be serious about this! I know times are hard right now but we can all look forward to better & brighter times!

Rue de Verneuil. In an exceptional building, this is a rare reception apartment in use as a private residence. The courtyard features a private entrance with a grand staircase to the piano area, a hall, a reception room, and a dining room with a four-meter ceiling height. Four bedrooms and a living room. On the ground floor, a huge dining kitchen, a pantry, and a fifth bedroom are found. All of these open to a private garden courtyard. Original fireplaces, parquet floors, and wood panelling

Okay, I'll take this one. It has just about everything I need!
ReplyDeleteHi Dear Judith,
ReplyDeleteIs a Paris apartment on your Christmas list? I hope Santa is good to you! Thanks for your thoughts on my healing...It's coming along but I'm doing some excruciating exercises everyday - I call them torture-cises. A series of 6 arm movements at 30 reps each, three times a day!! Still can only raise my arm half-way, which means I can't take the photos I'd like to take because I can't reach the release button! But it will happen. Take care, my dear.
Catherine
Oh my gosh - what utterly exquisite spaces you've found. You always provide the best eye candy!
ReplyDeleteJudy, I'm right with you! I'm absolutely LOVING all the Paris apartments and manors you've been posting lately. They are also my dream come true. I'm constantly tortured by the fact I can't just drive to Paris from Sydney. I'm dying to back for a longer stay however I'm torn cause I also really want to go back to America. It's been 13 years since my last visit. I'm working as hard as I can trying to make money whereever I can, even market research jobs to save for a holiday somewhere next year.
ReplyDeleteAnna :)
Hi Judith~ What a lovely post! There is so much to love in all those images. All the breathtaking architecture!!! I simply love the beautiful window treatment dividing the hall from the dining room. Beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteOK, you are officially killing me!
ReplyDeleteI love the photos and dreaming but it is pure torture. :)
Both such beautiful choices .. . but I must say I'd just love to play Scarlet and sweep down that staircase in the second apartment!
ReplyDelete(another ) - Judith
You make the choice harder with each find! I would be happy with any one of them. Let's just hurry and decide so we can put in our bid.
