I am simply mad about these couture confections! Why am I so obsessed with this dream world of couture lately!?! I heard today that Christian Lacroix is filing for what is equivalent in the US to bankruptcy. Hard times are hitting us all. :(
have a wonderful trip, didnt know your family lived in the states....
ReplyDeletealways love your photos and thoughts!!!
Enjoy.

I can live with the hair because the gowns are just amazing!
ReplyDeleteThe lavender is yummy as are all the fashions!!!
ReplyDeleteAll of these dresses are so fantastic and gorgeous. Thanks for again bringing inspiration to us all.
ReplyDeleteIts all beautiful and the hair-well it actually looks like mine in the morning....Love the outfits and the backgrounds. Oh to have a bedroom with those walls....Love Tiina...
ReplyDeleteJudith,
ReplyDeleteYou simply outdid yourself today!
I will be looking at these all day,
so gorgeous. Have a great sizzlin hot weekend, sounds fun. And always nice to see your Dad.
I love how these photos keep me away from the refrigerator. Keep them coming. Such beauty. The hair? A bit poodle-like. I don't think there is a man in the world who would find it attractive...but then again, it is just for the photo shoot. I once had a permanent that resembled this, to my horror. But I was in NYC, so no one gave it a second thought. It was a great excuse to buy a wardrobe of hats - which is exactly what I did! Ha! Have fun in Palm Springs!

Magnificent texture, color and inspiration! Merci mille fois pour ces jolies photos Madame! Anita
ReplyDeleteEt voilá, the benefit of time difference when being on the other side of the Atlantic as I am, is to be first in line to see these divine pictures. I am looking at the interiors just as much as at the haute couture of fashion.
ReplyDeleteHave a great time with dad,
Ingela
The gowns.. the setting... love both! I hate hearing that someone so talented is struggling -- I'm sure we haven't seen the last of Monsieur Lacroix! If I had the means, I'd purchase that first gown of his!
ReplyDeleteHave fun in Palm Springs!

What a great photo shoot! I especially love the Chanel, so feminine always. I'm just not crazy about the model they've used- I don't think anyone in the world needs to imagine themselves looking that frighteningly thin. Thanks for the creativity once again:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images Judith! The gowns are gorgeous but the setting is spectacular. Sad news about Christian Lacroix. He is iconic. Enjoy your weekend in Palm Springs with the family. You may have to get a pool for the little prince after his first experience.
ReplyDeleteThese are scrumptious!!! I love them all, but that lavendar...oh, my.
ReplyDeleteDearest Judith~

OMG !
ReplyDeleteJudith,
ReplyDeleteI hope you are enjoying the time with your family. Swimming sounds so fun and relaxing right now!
About your post, I have never understood why designers want such grotesque hair styles on the models wearing their masterpiece dresses. Perhaps they don't want the model to detract from the beauty of the dress so they make the models hideously ugly with these coiffures!
Christian Lacroix going bankrupt is so bad sad news. I love his use of colour.
ReplyDeleteHope your weekend in PS went great!
ReplyDeleteWe have had 5 overcast days down here so far and I am ready for the sunshine to come back :)
Bisous
Beautiful pictures and dresses but YIKES have these models ever eaten anything thing more that a radish?? I've never seen such skinny women. I'm not sure they are actually human!
