A Dream in Couture



Emily Blunt (from the Devil Wears Prada) dazzles in this photo shoot from the May issue of Vanity Fair. I've always been a huge fan of her and her films but this shoot takes the cake!



This shoot is in anticipation of her new film where she plays the young Queen Victoria. I can't wait to see this British costume drama focusing on the early years of the monarch's reign and her romance with Prince Albert





I love everything about these images...so pretty!




The couture is dreamy *sigh*...



The palette and the sets are just gorgeous...

    So lux!! She is the perfect choice to play Queen Victoria; I am so looking forward to seeing that film once its out. Those photos though are total proof that she is sooo royal material;)

    Darn....you beat me to it! Just read this article yesterday and that Dior dress has been on my blog enticing me for weeks. Love the dresses, but that settee with the flowers is even better. I liked the article's take on couture in this particular time and it's place overall historically-speaking.I thought they made an excellent point. Beautiful post!!!!!

    Judith! AHHH! I just love this post!!!! These are some of the best images I have seen in a long time! I just love the pink birds on her shoes in the first image and I am going to copy the idea of pinning fabric roses on a couch, settee, or Louis chair! And that Haute Couture Dior dress looks much better in this setting than on the runway! I just love the way it looks on her in this pose! I would love to take a few spins in this dress! I hope you don't mind, I would like to save a few of these pics onto my computer. The pics in this post are going to be a major inspiration for a personal project I have been working on...You'll have to wait to see it!! I'm going to have to go purchase this Vanity Fair issue! Thank you so much!

    Fabulous post! Isn't Vanity Fair great! One of my favorite magazines. Emily looks great. She was hilarious in the Devil Wears Prada. Thank you for kind words. It's been very busy around here for me and the little guy. He's just making too many new friends in the neighborhood forcing us to socialize with all the other stay at home parents during the day:-(...Hopefully, the excitement will die down soon and we will all go back to isolating ourselves at least once in awhile.
