I have been so inspired and I am now obsessing over glamorous dressing rooms and the fabulous backstage life in theatre, Opera, Ballet, and movies.
I stumbled upon a picture of Marilyn Monroe getting ready in her dressing room, and I fell into the rabbit hole searching for more backstage images. So here are some of my favorites to share with you...Enjoy!

Wow! The dressing tables and vanities are so pretty! I stumbled down the same rabbit hole! I've been posting some black and white photos from the glamorous old days of Hollywood to help Claudia at the Paris Apartment with her Vanity for Humanity book. Your pics are amazing! Marilyn's is the only one I've seen before. I can't wait to see your Film Noir post!

My friend's daughter is a ballerina and a few of those photos capture beautifully the balance of grace and hard work that is so essential to her dancing.
